Official Rules & Terms and Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter is The Trustee for Young Minds Health Trust (ABN 28 107 269 406), trading as Young Minds Network and Young Minds Health and Development Network (Promoter, Young Minds, we, us).

2. Promotion Period
- Entries open: 9:00am AEST on Monday 12 October 2026
- Entries close: 5:00pm AEST on Sunday 1 November 2026
Queensland does not observe daylight saving, so all times are Queensland time (AEST). Entries received outside this period are not valid.
3. Eligibility
To be eligible, you must:
- be 18 years or older;
- be a resident of Queensland;
- be able to collect the prize in person from Young Minds Stafford or Young Minds North Lakes (see section 9); and
- have a public or accessible Facebook or Instagram account that follows these Terms and the platform’s own terms.
The following people cannot enter: employees and contractors of Young Minds, and their immediate family members (spouse or partner, parents, children, siblings).
There is no purchase, booking, enquiry or use of any Young Minds service required to enter. Entering or winning has no effect on anyone’s eligibility for, or access to, Young Minds services.
4. How to Enter
ENTRY IS FREE. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
To enter, you must complete all three steps on the official giveaway post (published Monday 12 October 2026) on the Young Minds Network Instagram account (@youngmindsnetwork) or Facebook page:
- Follow Young Minds Network on Facebook or Instagram.
- Like the giveaway post on that platform published Monday 12 October 2026).
Bonus entry: If you follow Young Minds Network on both Facebook and Instagram platform, you receive one bonus entry (two entries in total).
Conditions of entry:
- Each person may enter once, and receives a maximum of two entries (including the bonus entry).
- Entries made by automated means, through fake or duplicate accounts, or by third parties on your behalf are invalid.
- You must keep following Young Minds Network until the winner is announced. We may check that entrants are following us at the time of the draw.
- The Promoter may disqualify any entrant who it reasonably believes has breached these Terms or tampered with the entry process.
5. The Prize(s)
The prize is one (1) Young Minds Family Wellness Pack, consisting of:
- One (1) Second Scout Routine Helper (‘seconds quality’ may have minor cosmetic imperfections or variations but is fully functional)

Total approximate value: $297.66 AUD (Including GST), based on recommended retail prices (RRP) at the time of publishing. The Young Minds promotional water bottle is included at no stated value.
Prize conditions:
- The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- If an item becomes unavailable, the Promoter may substitute an item of equal or greater value that is similar to the original.
- Items are subject to their manufacturers’ and suppliers’ terms. Gift cards/certificates are subject to the cafe’s own terms and conditions and expiry.
- Product images are for illustration only and actual items may vary in colour or design.
6. Product Safety & Disclaimer
The prize items are general wellbeing, sensory and routine products. They are not a clinical service, treatment or assessment, and are not a substitute for professional advice. Winning the prize does not create a client relationship with Young Minds.
Please check each item’s packaging before use:
- Some items (such as stacking stones and sensory bottles) contain small parts and should be used with adult supervision.
- Bath and body products (such as shower steamers) contain ingredients and fragrances. Check the ingredient list for allergies and sensitivities and patch test if unsure.
7. Winner Selection
- The winner will be drawn at random from all valid entries (with bonus entries counted) at 7 Clifford Street, Stafford at 10:00am AEST on Monday 2 November 2026.
- The draw will be conducted by a Young Minds representative, witnessed by a second Young Minds staff member and recorded.
- One (1) winner will be drawn. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. Winner Notification & Announcement
- The winner will be contacted by private message on the platform they entered through by 5:00pm AEST on Tuesday 3 November 2026. Please check your message requests folder.
- The winner must reply by 5:00pm AEST on Wednesday 4 November 2026. If they do not, or they are found to be ineligible, the prize is forfeited and the Promoter will redraw a new winner from the remaining valid entries. The same response period will apply.
- The winner will be announced on the Young Minds Network Instagram and Facebook accounts on Thursday 5 November 2026 (first name and last initial only). By entering, you agree to this.
9. Prize Collection
- The prize must be collected in person from Young Minds Stafford or Young Minds North Lakes by 5:00pm AEST on Friday 20 November 2026, during clinic opening hours9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday. Please arrange a collection time with us in advance by message or at enquiries@youngmindsnetwork.com.au.
- No delivery or postage is available. The winner is responsible for any costs of collecting the prize.
- Photo identification may be requested at collection to confirm the winner’s identity and Queensland residency.
- If the prize is not collected by the deadline, it will be forfeited and the Promoter will redraw on Monday 23 November 2026 and notify the new winner, who will have 14 days to collect.
With the winner’s permission, we may take a photo at collection to share on our social media. This is optional and the prize does not depend on it.
10. Privacy & Data Collection
We collect your name, social media handle and any contact details you give us only to run this promotion (to check eligibility, draw and contact the winner, and keep records). We will not add you to any marketing list unless you separately agree, and we will not link entries to any client records.
We will keep promotion records (including these Terms, the entry list, the draw record and the prize collection confirmation) for 5 years, then securely destroy them. 11. Platform Disclaimer
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook or Meta Platforms, Inc. You are providing your information to Young Minds Network and not to Meta. By entering, you release Meta from any liability in connection with this promotion.
12. Governing Laws
By entering, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes liability for any loss or damage arising from this promotion or use of the prize. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
If circumstances outside the Promoter’s control affect the promotion, it may modify, suspend or cancel it, as permitted by law. Any changes will be published at https://youngmindsnetwork.com.au/blog/ and on our social media accounts @YoungMindsNetwork.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, and you submit to the courts of Queensland.
