I am a registered counseling psychologist, born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand. I completed by training in Auckland and moved after a year to Melbourne. My next big adventure is set to be in Queensland, where I am hoping to settle down near one of the beautiful beaches.
I began my psychologist journey as a clinician working in an anxiety specialist service with a specialist interest in presentations such as OCD, social anxiety, depression and phobias. I have always enjoyed working within group settings, both in practices with fellow clinicians and with groups of clients. Additionally, I have found the stillness of individual therapy with clients in a similar vein fulfilling and exciting; to see one grow, thrive and overcome is truly are privilege to witness.
I have been honored to work alongside many walks of life, from varying cultures, ages and gender identities.
Since my arrival into Melbourne I have worked in a variety of settings from private practice to support NDIS clients in their homes to gain confidence and capacity to live their fullest lives. Following my engagement with NDIS clients I took on a role to support communities accessing appropriate funded services within the Primary Health Network’s suite of services.
From all my experience as a clinician I feel I can provide informed, evidence based support to clients that is uniquely tailored to meet their needs and that of the world in which they walk in.
I feel equipped to find person-centered approaches that meet you where you are and assist on this stage of your wellbeing journey or that of a loved one.
